Dedicated Micros Inc. Appoints New President and CEO

Chantilly, VA, April 21, 2006 -- Dedicated Micros Inc., announces the appointment of Dr. Alan E. Calegari as the new President and CEO of the Chantilly, Virginia-based company, which is responsible for U.S., Canadian and Latin American markets. He will assume his role as of May 1, 2006.

Dr. Calegari brings more than twenty years experience in executive positions in the fields of security, fire safety, building automation and automotive interiors to Dedicated Micros.

Prior to his current position, Dr. Calegari was active across a broad spectrum of senior management roles, most notably as President and Regional Head of Siemens Building Technologies, Inc.’s Security Division, as well as serving in other executive, leadership and advisory capacities at Siemens Building Technologies Ltd., Siemens Canada. He also has had a successful career history with Johnson Controls Inc., Controls and Automotive Systems Groups, and Pan Am World Services, Inc.

Dr. Calegari holds a PhD, Arts & Sciences from the University of Studies of Rome, Foreign Exchange Program Loyola University; an (MA) Equivalency PhD Program from Harvard University; and he completed the Executive Education Program, Harvard University, Advanced International Business Management, George F. Baker Foundation.
